Menus

Every item in the KLSTR.ctrl menus on macOS and Windows, with its shortcut, what it does and the page that covers it.

This page lists every menu item of KLSTR.ctrl, menu by menu, with its keyboard shortcut and what it does. On macOS the menus are in the menu bar at the top of the screen; on Windows they are in the menu bar of the KLSTR.ctrl window.

The two platforms have the same menus with one difference: macOS has an extra KLSTR.ctrl app menu on the left. On Windows its items (Check for updates, About KLSTR.ctrl, Report a problem and Quit) sit in the KLSTR menu instead, right after Reset devices to defaults....

The menu commands themselves are not blocked in Live mode, so commands that write to devices straight away, such as Reset address, work in Live mode too. Some of the dialogs they open lock their own buttons in Live mode. See Switch between Build and Live mode.

Zoom In and Zoom Out scale the whole window, menus and dialogs included. To zoom the topology itself, scroll in the view: see Navigate the topology views.

Reload and Force Reload start the window over. KLSTR.ctrl forgets the devices it found and rebuilds the topology from scratch, and a setup you restored from a file is gone. Save your discovered devices first if you need them.
